Gwenda Lynn Patcyk

30 January 1954 – 25 March 2014

Gwenda Lynn Patcyk passed away from cancer on March 25, 2014. She was born in Tremonton, Utah on January 30, 1954 to Lyle Loren and Bertha Joyce (Lamb) John.  Gwenda graduated from Bear River High School.  On April 13, 1973, she married Mark Patcyk in the Logan Temple.

She was a homemaker and cared for their children:  Brayden, Patricia Lee, and Lorilyn Kerr. Gwenda also was a scout leader and enjoyed participating in humanitarian work with her church.  She loved to tole paint, crochet Afghans and baby blankets, quilt, tie quilts, and spend time with her five grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, Mark and three of their children, Gwenda is survived by three brothers and a sister.  She was preceded in death by her stillborn daughter, Kendal Lynn Patcyk.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at 1 P.M. in the Brigham City 8th Ward Chapel, 139 East 300 North, Brigham City. Interment will be in Brigham City Cemetery.

The family would like to thank Logan Regional Hospital and Intermountain Hospice for the care given to Gwenda and her family.
